Early voting is underway across the state, and Floridians are beginning to decide which candidates will advance to the November general election.
But primary elections frequently receive far less attention than presidential or general elections—even though the choices made during a primary can dramatically shape who ultimately governs our communities.
In some races, the political makeup of a district means the primary may effectively determine the eventual winner.
That’s why participation matters.
